The Sunburn Festival is back and its bigger and better than ever before! Sunburn, India's very own electronic music festival is now on the world map with CNN rating it as one of the worlds 20 top must attend events!

Given below are the Line up of DJs performing at Sunburn this year, the highlight being headline act by DJ Armin van Buuren, co headline by  DJ Roger Sanchez .

Taking place in Candolim, Goa from 27th to 29th December , Sunburn is presented by Percept Dmark and Nikhil Chinapa,who is the festival director this year.

Touted as Asia's Biggest Electronic Dance Music Festival - The Sunburn Festival at Candolim Beach in Goa makes its return this December (27th to 29th). Pulling off their biggest coup yet, Sunburn has managed to pull in several international acts including the *world’s number one DJ Armin Van Buuren* who will be headlining on the 29th of December.

In 2007, 2008, and 2009 Van Buuren was voted number one DJ in DJ Mag's annual Top 100 vote beating out DJ heavyweights such as Tiesto (2nd place 2007 – 2009),  John Digweed (3rd 2007), Paul Van Dyke (3rd 2008), and David Guetta (3rd 2009).  Armin Van Buuren is said to have over 30 million weekly listeners on his radio show in more than 40 countries, and this year he is going to cast his spell at Sunburn.

The Sunburn Festival will also be co-headlined by world heavyweight *DJ Roger Sanchez.* Arguably one of the best house DJs around, Sanchez has many accolades to his name including a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording for his remix of No Doubt’s “Hella Good.”

Merely two years old, the brainchild of Percept Entertainment and Nikhil Chinapa, Sunburn has invited global clubbing brand and dance behemoth *Gatecrasher*for their label stage, a huge honour for any label.  Gatecrasher’s Lion insignia is one of the most recognised logos in the clubbing community
worldwide and it will be clearly visible at Sunburn 2009.  Previous years
have seen Anujnabeats and Defected as invitees for the label stage.

Located seaside in Goa, on India's west coast, Sunburn is fast turning into a hotspot for electronic music lovers because of the unique mix of performers accompanied by the perfect beach setting.

The festival, being set at the height of Goa’s party season, brings people from all corners of the world together to be a part of this musical extravaganza. Folks from across India throng to the festival as well to catch a variety of international acts they wouldn’t usually get to see in one place.

About Nikhil Chinapa:

As a popular VJ, Nikhil got to spend a lot of time around his first love, Music. During which time his taste in music expanded far beyond the conventional fare available in India at the time. In 2001, a conversation between friends resulted in the launch of Submerge — the largest Indian
Electronic Dance Music (EDM) company in India.

Nikhil Chinappa today is a name synonymous with the electronic dance music scene in India.  A VJ, Submerge Founder, DJ, and MC, Chinapa is not just a man of many trades but also a man with a vision.  Single minded in his passion for getting the latest Electronic Dance Music to an audience that
can't seem to get enough, Nikhil has come to be regarded as something of a Music Evangelist by the media and music lovers.

Every weekend finds Nikhil playing sold-out nights at the best clubs across India. His sound defies genres, and covers a spectrum that includes funky house, percussive rhythms, tech-house and melodic progressive sounds. Nikhil’s pursuit of his passion for music has become an inspirational story for many young music lovers.
