Dhanush to remake Kannada film Duniya

Dhanush has reportedly acquired the rights of Kannada blockbuster Duniya. The actor is likely to be on a safer side by relying more on remakes. It all started with Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty followed the list. The actor's upcoming film Ready, Mapillai and Seedan will continue the trend. Duniya (Kannada), directed by debutant director Soori, was produced by A.T. Lokesh and T.P. Siddaraju starring debutants Vijay and Rashmi with Rangayana Raghu, Kishore and Chandru in very important roles. The film was based on Bangalore's underworld in the backdrop of a love story and has well-shot action sequences.
